I live in Canada I just bought a 2013 Laramie and after days of calling I'm told uconnect doesn't have the apps function in Canada meaning I can't sync it with my phone, anyone else in Canada have this issue or anyone in states play with the functions much yet? Or even better any info when it could work in Canada? After calls and calls to dodge I'm told my truck is to new so they don't have any info on it yet. Anyways new on this site so glad I found it!!!

Thanks everyone. Which of the radios did you get?? This is everything on the new radios, so far along with your OWNERS MANUAL, there should also be a manual for the radio, if they didn't give you an owners manual & a radio manual, ask for it.

If they say that they don't have them, get in touch with CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE at ask for 3 things, you will need your VIN# & current mileage, when you call them BUILD SHEET, you definitely will want this OWNERS MANUAL, if you don't have one Radio Manual, if you don't have one, they may call it a Uconnect Access User’s Manual Uconnect ACCESS RADIOS — IF EQUIPPED For detailed information on the Uconnect 3.0, Uconnect 5.0, Uconnect 8.4A or the Uconnect 8.4AN refer to your Uconnect Access User’s Manual. Canadians will likely never receive any of the apps because Sprint is an exclusively U.S. Company and unless they miraculously partner with a Canadian network provider, your're not going to receive any services that require data access. I admit I am not familiar with the U-connect system and I have read that Sprint wants to take their system international and that parts of the system are supposed to be network-agnostic. So maybe there's hope but my experience as a Canadian owner of Ford's MyFordTouch system says don't count on ever getting a damn thing that involves Sync services or future apps.
